SeamlessWeb Group Order (SeamlessWeb GO) simplifies meals for companies with employees who place multiple orders to one or a handful of restaurants. The system automates the entire meal ordering process, letting employees focus on work – instead of on the hassle of passing around paper menus, dealing with meal sign-up sheets, and calling in orders for multiple people.
Each day, employees eligible for SeamlessWeb GO receive an email notification to order within a time frame specified by your company. Users log in and order from one of the restaurants designated by an administrator at your company (vendors can be set up in advance to rotate daily or weekly, so there is little or no ongoing maintenance required). Users then provide accounting information such as cost center or client matter codes (where appropriate), and check out. At companies that do not pay for employee lunches, personal credit cards may be used. All orders are delivered by the restaurant(s), individually bagged and labeled.
SeamlessWeb GO will help you and your company:
| SeamlessWeb GO | House Accounts and Credit Card Systems |
|---|---|
| Single, weekly invoice, with complete, accurate accounting information | House accounts at vendors: dozens of invoices, issued monthly (at best). Credit Cards: hundreds of T&E forms submitted at all different times. |
| Sophisticated, detailed, item-by-item, real-time reports | No reporting capabilities, or limited reporting on the total price but without information on order details |
| Electronic invoice with complete, validated billing information | Paper invoices with incomplete and inaccurate information |
| Dynamic menus, updated daily by vendors | Static (intranet) and outdated (paper) |
| Budgetary controls and time restrictions | Limited controls and minimal IRS compliance |
| Security features that eliminate improper or unauthorized charges | No security. Employees and others may abuse the system and place orders on a firm's house account. |
| Quick and easy way for employees to order | Stacks of outdated paper menus, calls to restaurants, waiting on hold, providing credit card information to strangers – a fraud-prone waste of time |
| Huge vendor selection | Limited vendor selection |
