Seh Ja Meh is where you’ll find quick, inexpensive and delicious lunch and dinner in the Wall Street area. They have great Korean barbecue lunchbox specials plus a full menu of typical Korean fare. Their Lunch Specials are well portioned, tasty and a great value. The food overall is close to what you would find on the table in a Korean household. Be sure to try the silky tofu casserole with seafood, it’s a customer favorite! Put down that burger and try something new, She Ja Meh is looking forward to introducing you to their traditional Korean cuisine!

Dry Galbi and below average marinate flavor. Disappointing. Overpriced.

The kimchi chigae and kimchi dubu are real winners, but the galbi is very disappointing.

I used to go here for lunch when they were on John St. and thought it would be great to have a dinner delivered. I got the bibimbop which is pretty standard fare but it arrived warm. Not even warm, just room temperature. AND was so small for a serving! I had to go heat it up in the microwave and after finishing I was left still hungry. They're delivery menu leaves much to be desired...and so do their portions!

I had a really remarkable delivery guy from Se Ja Meh the other night. He realized the lid to the soup container had broken and about half of the soup was sloshing around the bottom of the bag. Unlike many delivery guys, who would hand it to you and run, this guy asked me to open up the bag to check it out. He apologized profusely, took the broken container and said "I'll be right back." I asked if I should call the restaurant. He said, "I got it". 10 minutes later, he's back with a new entree. No muss, no fuss. Loved it.

Best Korean in this area. All the jigaes are nicely prepared and they give you a good amount of banchan...even when delivering.

The absolute worst Korean Food I've EVER HAD ... do not go in for korean bbq, do not eat anything from here unless you want to spend about half an hour in the bathroom

Definitely question the reviewers that gave Se Ja Meh 5 stars – overall, the food is decent and this is one of the better options for Korean downtown, however, the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Bibimbop is the only item on the menu that seems to be consistently good. Sadly, the soups and stews are very greasy (better quality restaurants will typically skim off the grease) and the meat is often fatty and tough.

the owners of this restaurant must be rating their own restaurant as 5 stars. Horrible soondoobu not even close to the real thing. I eventually had to throw it out. I tried to give it a second chance but it wasn't worth it. I'm korean and I'm not a picky eater but this place is nowhere close to being decent.

My husband and I eat here at least once every week. Rivals Koreatown food-wise and has MUCH better service. Highly recommend the silken tofu soup and yookae jang (spicy shredded beef soup). Love this place.

I have eaten at Se Ja Meh at least two dozen times since its reopening on Greenwich Street. (I was a big fan of the original one on John Street and could not wait to try this one). I’ve had the lunchboxes as well as the bbq meats over rice at lunch which were all excellent as to be expected based on eating at the previous location. The meals are served with different sides on a daily basis which are good as well. The new Se Ja Meh is also a great place to have dinner and enjoy authentic Korean BBQ at the table. I would say it is as good as K-town without the attitude if you know what I mean. I have eaten all the bbq dishes available on the menu and thought they were all great. I also enjoyed the fried dumplings with meat and the seafood scallion pancake appetizers. There is also a full bar for those of you who like to have a few drinks with your meal!

The above review is right. The food from this place is awful. Even the white rice is bad.
