There’s a little something for everyone at this Battery Park City neighborhood hangout. From quesadillas to sushi to bagels and lox, Gate House has it all, and it’s all good. With a friendly and attentive staff and large portion sizes, this is a perfect place to bring the family. However, the bar scene is also inviting for locals wishing to unwind after a long day at the office.
Any way you slice it, Gate House feels like home.
Cheese Quesadilla—Monterey jack and cheddar grilled between two flour tortillas with sour cream, guacamole and salsa

Great food - Fast delivery. one of the few places downtown with consistent food quality. Have been ordering for several years now. Took our advice for daily specials - Thank you! (Please keep Mexican Pizza on the menu or bring it back in the specials more often)

I got the Penne Vodka with shrimp. The sauce was ok. They claimed that mushrooms were included but I only got one small piece. Overall the meal was ok, I would order from here again but it might not be my first choice. Delivery was fast so that earned them an extra star.

We ordered from here because we noticed that Gatehouse had very good reviews. It turns out it's got a 5-star rating for good reason. The food showed up timely and it was delicious. I also had to call the restaurant to ask a question and they were so helpful and nice. We will definitely order from Gatehouse again. Would suggest them to anyone.

This place is going downhill fast. The last two orders I placed arrived with serious mistakes. Instead of gravy, I received a creamy fish sauce, which I only discovered once I had poured it all over my chicken and potatoes. The whole dish was ruined. So I called for a replacement, which took nearly 2 hours. Sadly, it just seems that they folks in the kitchen are just not paying attention.

Fast, hot and good. Portions are generous. Their burgers are the best deal in the area. I'm bummed they dropped the chicken wrap.

Sashimi pieces are big, and they are ohhh so fresh! This place isn't the most inexpensive place, but it's worth every penny. And their chicken noodle soup is really hearty, with chicken white meat chunks and veggies. Tastes just like home made.

WOW! This was the single best meal we've EVER gotten off Seamlessweb. Got the Ribeye steak medium --- it was Medium. I am a mashed potato snob and they were PERFECT. The gravy was good, too. The veggies were the perfect side dish!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. It was FAST delivery too!!! I'm stuffed!

Very fast delivery. The medium rare burger actually arrived -- medium rare! The spaghetti bolognese is a refined preparation, not drenched in tomato sauce but instead containing a generous helping of meat and finely chopped carrots.

Exceptionally fast delivery Exceptionally warm food (better than in a restaurant) Very good tasting food...they could take the burger to the next level and add some seasoning to the meat - parsley etc...but otherwise EXCELLENT with perfect packaging...they know what they are doing on the take out end for sure.

The restaurant is unable to take "special" requests. For example, they can not make a 1/4lb burger instead of the 1/2lb burger because the "cooks" are unable to make burger patties. It seems all they can do it take premade burger patties out of a box and put them on a grill.

Gatehouse is a solid neighborhood restaurant. Almost everything tastes good. That said, i would avoid the pizza and the sushi. Everything else is a winner. The beef salad is 5 stars.
