Chinese Mirch, true to its name (spicy Chinese in Hindi), celebrates the singular blend of wok style cooking with Indian herbs and spices. While this amalgam has been popular in India for centuries, chef and owner Vik Lulla is the first to bring it to Manhattan.
He blends Cantonese, Hakka and Szechuan styles together to capture the essence of this cuisine as you would taste it in the old and famed Chinese restaurants in the bustling shopping districts of Mumbai, Calcutta, South Delhi and Bangalore. Each dish is carefully prepared with the freshest of herbs and spices to create a distinctive flavor, sometimes bold and fiery, but always a gastronomic delight.
With its warm colors and casual vibe, Chinese Mirch is a comfortable space offering incredible food and wines at great value. Experience the nostalgia of Indian Chinese there and enjoy sharing it with your family and friends.

Chinese or Indian? Yes! Unique and uniquely spicy, an amazing addition to the neighborhood. This hybrid cuisine is hard to find anywhere in NYC, and I'm happy they deliver right to my door. Stick to the spicy dishes and avoid the chinese delivery cliches and you'll be happy. Although maybe not so happy with the bill, which seems a bit too high for the amount of food you get.

Usually don't rate restaurants but was really disappointed by this one. Chicken was dark meat and poor quality.

Overpriced and bland fusion cuisine. The food was beautifully packaged and a plate was included for convenience.

Awesome food, everything is great! The chocolate cake is sinfully delightful and the perfect end to any meal. The manchurian dishes are very good. Chicken lollipops (something like chicken wings) are the best!!
