Saigon 48 has increased in popularity for more reasons than just its strategic location—on 48th Street in the Theater District—no doubt its great food and service, both in the restaurant and for delivery, have played a large part. Saigon 48 offers a casserole that they believe is close to royalty, with prawns, scallops, crab, fish and calamari. With this special dish and others, they pretty much have the kingdom of the sea covered.

Pad Thai was greasy, & shrimp too mushy. Beef basil had weird taste.

Steamed pork dumplings were fatty, both the filling and shell were too dense, the taste and texture were awful. Steamed noodles with chicken was good but needed a bit more nuoc mam sauce on the side.

Not authentic and bland. Downtown is best for the real deal. The bok choy came with no leafy tops...bizarre. Don't waste your money here.

Two friends and I ordered three entrees and an order of summer rolls. Everything was bland. One entree had little to no sauce/seasoning. The other two had a tasteless sauce. The summer rolls and even the peanut dip that came with them were flavourless. None of us enjoyed our meals, though nothing was awful. I am perplexed by the high rating for this restaurant.

Chicken was soft as sponge and had about as much taste...very poor.

Not the best Vietnamese in the world and probably not too authentic, but fantastic for delivery. Very fast, decent food.

I'm not sure what happened to this place, they were very good, but unfortunately last two times I ordered food was very bad, with me ending up with severe food poisoning. Be careful....

Great food! I loved the Pho Noodles, and also the Pad Thai was delicious!

The food is great, but they cannot follow directions. I order noodle soup from here three times and each time I specify in the instructions to separate noodles from the soup (soggy noodles = bad noodles). Not ONCE can they follow this instruction!

This vendor has messed up or completely forgotten my order on more than once occasion. Even more disappointing is the extremely poor resolutions that have been given once their error has been bought to their attention. Good food, but it may not be worth the wait.

I was sorely disappointed. The Pho broth lacked flavor, the noodles were sticky and overcooked, and the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings did not like shrimp at all. They lacked texture and taste. I regularly frequent Vietnamese and Pan Asian restaurants. This one rates at the bottom

spring rolls and summer rolls are OK, but other dish is just soso. Pho is disappointing rather.

Summer rolls are okay, the peanut sauce was pathetic, can barely taste the peanut flavor. The "pad thai", I use quotes because it was pat thai in name only, was cooked like chinese corner takout noodles, stir fried. It had so much soy sauce and garlic that I could have ordered chow mai fun with chopped peanutes springled on top and it would have been the same.

Very tasty noodles, very good portions, fair price.

Quick but surly delivery. Food was good but could have been great if only more sauce had been added. Had the bok choy which was HUGE and the vermicelli noodles with pork - which was delicious only needed more sauce.
