A group of friends wondered for a long time, “Why do most large cities in the world not have places that serve delicious hummus dishes in a modern cool setting?” Hummus has become widely popular in the daily diets of many people from all ethnic origins and when talking to hummus eaters they learned that not only is hummus tasty, but it is also a food rich in protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals with tremendous health benefits. These same friends decided to take it to the next stage and developed, with the help of a leading food stylist, a full menu of hummus-based dishes and healthy Mediterranean salads, such as the unique Quinoa Salad, composed of primarily organic and natural ingredients. Nanoosh was created out of these developments.

My order has been mixed up a few times, but I still LOVE Nanoosh. I lived in the Middle East for over a year and this is hands down the best Middle Eastern food I have found in NYC.
