We have tried all of the Indian places in the Financial District, and we keep coming back to Diwan-E-Khaas. They have the best prices and really great food. I love their samosas and the tandoori chicken.

Delicious food and a super fast delivery. Couldn't have been more than 20 minutes. Will definitely order from here again.

Just had a nightmarish episode with the restaurant. They had my address correct and phone number incorrect (how, I don't know; I've ordered off seamless, even them, for the past several months with no problem). Get an email from seamless telling me to call their manager Rajeev who was the rudest and most obnoxious man I've ever spoken to. The delivery is 2 hours late and he proceeds to lecture me on how his delivery guy has been out for an hour trying to deliver my order. Why they didn't just deliver the food to the address and have my doorman call up, I again have no idea. Owner called me back and apologized and was understanding and apologetic but disturbingly told me he couldn't get Rajeev to apologize for his rude behavior because of Rajeev's ego issues and that the owner would have to beg him. Very odd. They have great samosas and their daal, malai kofta and naan is very good (though most else is subpar; can't comment on meat dishes as a vegetarian). I would definitely order again from them as soon as I know this Rajeev is gone; can't trust a restaurant managed by such a person.
