Divine Bar is a “downtown chic” wine and tapas lounge that offers two duplex locations in Manhattan. It has built a reputation, not only for its 65 wine-by-the-glass program and international beer list, but also for its zebra striped barstools and velvet-couched living room settings.

The cozy, fun-filled lounge scene is complemented by the large array of inventive tapas-style appetizers, each offered in a prix fixe with a suggested wine partner. Patrons can sink into a plush upholstered armchair, unwind in front of a fireplace, and sip on a Cabernet while eating ostrich bruschetta with Roquefort-currant salsa! The entire menu is designed to invite and encourage everyone—from the intimidated greenhorn to the most savvy Epicurean—to taste everything from two-ounce wine samples to ‘Divine Fromagerie’ cheese platters.

Its Midtown West location in the northern Theater District is within blocks from Carnegie Hall, Studio 54, and the AOL Time Warner complex at Lincoln Circle. Its ruby red lighting, jewel-toned couches and armchairs, and large rooftop dining terrace make it one of the most unique spaces in the city. It is also home to Vino-Versity™, Divine Bar’s very own wine school!

The eclectic settings offer gorgeous cabaret murals, vintage wine & spirits posters, and backlit Cruvinet dispensers displaying choice wine bottles. The space is perfect for private parties and celebrations, and the unique aesthetics and creative menu will make for a sophisticated, stylish, and memorable night on the town!

Both Divine Bar locations offer an array of adjoining lounge spaces that may be arranged for events from thirty to two hundred and fifty people. Aesthetics are unparalleled…eclectic multi-colored furniture in cozy niches complements the gorgeous “wine garden” buffets, where international tapas and fromage are displayed among wooden wine crates, twisting grape vines and flowers, and old-world gold candelabras.

The extensive and one-of-a-kind beverage menus, from exotic sangrias and bubbles, to world-class wines and microbrews, to Technicolor martini creations, allow the beverage stations and bars to complement the visual splendor!

Cajun Spiced Lobster and Conch Hush Puppies—Deep fried fritters with sweet corn, chipotle, and scallions, served with horseradish aioli

Rio Bruschetta—Sliced duck breast topped with banana, pear and grapefruit chutney

Empanadas—Savory dough filled with sweet yam, woodhouse bacon, cheddar cheese and cinnamon apple, served with crème fraiche

Warm Spring Rolls—Stuffed with toasted prosciutto, brie and fig marmalade, or with avocado, sweet corn, plantain, jalapeno, coconut cream and black beans; served with lime-cilantro dip

Shrimp and Watermelon Ceviche—Cured with grapefruit citrus, served on salted pita chips
