The vast menu has grown to include many vegetarian and sea food dishes. Entrees are served on a heap of buttery rice with grilled tomatoes, peppers and onions. Tasty sandwiches and salads are ideal for lunch, and be sure to try the hearty lentil soup. Ali Baba also serves more conventional fare, like a sparkling array of dips and spreads with puffy bread and the usual chops and kebabs. Food is good. Delivery is extremely spotty, even if it shows up as coming in 15-30 mins, delivery can often take well over an hour.

in the past they were consistently good, but lately the food has been hit or miss. sometimes the food tastes like its been sitting out all day and other times it tastes incredibly fresh. also, they don't always make substitutions even though the menu says they will.

Always excellent Turkish fare. Try the hummus, the coban salatasi with feta, the lenil soup or the chicken kebabs.

Great Turkish food. Have tried many other Turkish / middle eastern restaurants and Ali Baba is one of the best in my book. I highly recommend the Mixed Appetizer if you like dips, and the Yugurtlu Tavuk.

The food is consistently delicious but delivery is usually slow and can take over an hour. The babaganoush, homemade manti, and baklava are some of the best on the menu.

They always do not delivery full order and then appologise - this is 4th time whne they missed an item in the order. Very irritating when it comes to dinner/lunch time and you find your dish missing.

Man, I love Ali Baba - possibly the best Turkish restaurant in the city. The chicken kebab and chicken adana are great, as are the rice and bread and all the stuff that comes with it. Good appetizers too - cacik, hummus, and babaganouj are all excellent. I'd order from them all the time if it weren't for that damned $15 minimum!

Ali Baba is consistently delicious. We order from here nearly every other week. I suggest the hummus (clearly), the falafels (my husband is obsessed with it), all of the kebabs, and the homemade manti, which is truly amazing - it's almost like a gnocchi stuffed with mean instead of potatoes! Great place! I recommend dining in, as well. Oh, and the baklava, is incredibly crisp and just the right dose of sweetness.

this place is a hidden gem....the kop shish and plain chicken dishes are plain but well cooked and the lamb is cooked in a lovely spice...very good and seems fairly healthy...great oven-cooked bread (big pieces), quick delivery...one of few good places to get delivery in the void of restaurants that is Murray Hill
