Chef Antonio Tonelli and his team have hand picked a mix of regional recipes to create a mouth-watering menu that will please all of your senses. Their delicious food will infuse your body with bliss, lift your mood and provide you with a sense of satisfaction.
The benefits and virtues of a Mediterranean diet come from the abundance of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains and carbohydrates in each dish. At Al Volo, they believe in the heritage of Italian food and make all their pasta fresh on the premises. Olive oil is used almost exclusively in Mediterranean cooking as it contains antioxidants and is beneficial to the digestive system. They have taken all this into account while creating a mix of tasty dishes for a healthy lifestyle.

Elegantly refurbished in a modern style in January 2008, Al Volo is the perfect place to leave the noise of the city behind, slow down and enjoy your meal.
Your body needs an uplifting and relaxed environment in order to process and absorb the nutrients from your meal. Al Volo’s homely ambience is designed to welcome you anytime of the day for a relaxing breakfast, a brief lunch or a laid back dinner. You can enjoy their inspiring food indoors or on the summer terrace, a true delight for al fresco dining.
For events located at Al Volo, they can cater to functions as simple as drinks and canapés or as complicated as full cuisine events involving meal reservations. They can offer the entire restaurant, which seats 36 people, or the outside deck. The deck is heated for events year round and seats 30 people. Al Volo is fully licensed until midnight and is extremely convenient for the late night bars in the Old Street and Brick Lane areas.
Because of the popularity of their delivery service and restaurant Al Volo is often asked about on site event catering. Whilst they are not a catering company, they are happy to provide trays of any dishes on their current menu, disposable serving ware, plates and cutlery. They are also able to provide bespoke menus for special events. They offer food and drink delivery services when catering to your event. Additionally, the restaurant can provide staff and chinaware and glasses for smaller sized events. Also, the Truman Brewery, where Al Volo is based, has a range of venues to host your event and they will be happy to put you in touch with them.

Cotoletta alla Milanese con Patate al Rosmarino—Breaded and deep-fried chicken breast with Rosemary potatoes
Straccetti di Manzo con Funghi Gorgonzola e Rucola—Julienne of beef sautéed with Portobello mushrooms, Gorgonzola cheese, demi glace and fresh rocket
Tiramisu—The real thing
Delivery times could use an improvement but the pasta I ordered was tasty and cooked al dente. The size of the prosciutto and melone antipasto portion was ridiculous given the price tag but tasted ok. I will order from Al Volo again.

totally overpriced, ridiculously small amount of the actual food you order; rest is filled up with cheap salad leaves without dressing

Hello ! I ordered a starter of prosciutto and figs today, followed by the oven-baked fillet of salmon; and I just wanted to let you know that I thought both were very nice indeed. The figs were attractively part-peeled and very tender, while the salmon was beautifully crispy on the outside while being 'pink' and tender on the inside. My only caveat would be that the salmon was advertised as being flavoured with mint, and I can't say that I could distinguish that flavour at all. Overall, however, congratulations for simple, rather lighter Italian fare than we are used to. Kind regards, ALEX HUNTER

I especially like your Piadina's, I had the tomato, mozzarella, rocket one yesterday and trying the mozzarella and spinach one today! Always warm and on time too! 10/10! Thanks!

£5 for fruit salad is ridiculous especially as I could have had just as nice or probably nicer for less from Tescos or Pret a Manger.
