Food arrived after 35 minutes. Everything was as expected, no little tray for soy sauce, but I emptied the little tray with ginger and we were off. Sushi fresh and rolls good. Would order again.

For $23, it's not that much sushi. I really thought there would be more- the rolls are really small. It was fresh, but I wouldnt re-order.

The freshest, most delicious Sushi I've had in the Upper East Side. Reminds me of the homemade Sushi a co-worker used to bring to the office -- gives you the impression that they use only the best ingredients.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu and Spicy Tuna Roll. The roll was good but the Chicken Katsu was like eating beef jerky. Tough as a brick and thin as paper.

Ordering from Aki was the worst experience I have had on seamlessweb. This is a horrible restaurant, with horrible customer service and nobody should order from them. There are so many better sushi places in NYC with better service. They say you get a free california roll with a $30 purchase, but you can not use the discount. I then called to change my order and they made me call seamlessweb customer service. They cared more about a $5 sushi roll than keeping me as a customer!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE... DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!

Very small rolls for the price. Spicy tuna was surprisingly flavorless. Really odd gummy textured wasabi dumblings. Stir Fried vegetable entree was decent, vegetables slightly overcooked.

The sushi here was disgusting. I had avocado sushi and it was brown instead of green. The sushi was warm and looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. I will never eat here again.

Do not order from this place unless you want to waste your money. The are very cheap on the amount of sushi that they give you. My toro roll was all cucumber and the tiniest piece of fish on top. If you order from Haru they will give you large pieces of fish.. The sushi from Aki wasn't even that good.

Great restuarant, great food. The people who pick up the phone even speak english, which is rare. Even more rare, they are patient with taking ur order! The food is also excellent; I go out of my way to order from here even though I have a few places much closer. ---One last thing, though this is regarding Seamless Web more than the restaurant, it can sometimes be hard to place an order where you want more than one of the same exact thing, specifically within the lunch specials section. What I mean is, you get a bargain on 2 or 3 rolls btwn 11-3pm, and due to the way Seamless Web has it set up, there is nowhere to click to request the same thing twice. Instead, after you click California (or whatever) roll once, you can't place the order because it keeps asking you to select one more item...anyway, that is the only thing. Ordering from here, and on Seamless Web, is great.

I ordered an amaebi (sweet shrimp) sushi ala carte and received a regular-sized (rock?) shrimp atop a huge amount of rice. Not what I ordered. My donkatsu was cold and tough, likewise for the salmon teriyaki. I didn't get the free california roll and when I called to ask why, they told me that I already had a discount from seamless and, with that discount, my total came to $29.96 minus the $3.50 tip I regretfully paid. I wouldn't eat there again anyway.

This was easily the WORST take-out sushi I have ever had. The fish was clearly not fresh (smelled rancid), and as I was eating one of the rolls we ordered, I bit down and almost swallowed a STAPLE. Yes, inside the philadelphia roll was a whole METAL STAPLE. When I called them to complain, they denied it and were entirely rude and uncooperative. (I called Seamless web customer service and they immediately voided the transaction and I did recieve my credit from them - they handled the situation perfectly.)
